FLH Bairro Alto - Chiado Spacious Flat

The place is huge. Its in a noisy area but is very well insulated from outside noise except see negatives. Great location to explore Lisbon. Though I have mentioned more negatives they are all minor and they seem to have addressed the bathroom smell mentioned in recent reviews, the bathroom was spotless.

There is an issue with the hot water as mentioned in recent reviews, you can get round it by run the shower before your ready to get in, look at the boiler if it doesn't get to over 40C and says F7 turn the water off and on again after 1 - 2 tries it works. There are cockroaches but not loads and there small I assume they are just in the area and there's nothing that can be done. The bedroom at the back is noisy from what we think are aircon units that buzz loudly all night. It would make a bit difference if they provided a bit of tea and coffee.

Very bright, big and central.

There was a bad smell coming from the pipes.

Stayed here a couple of times already. Never clean, but great location. But this time the stench was not bearable. Even the short amount of time we spent in the apartment itself we wanted to throw up cause of the smell. Disgusting. Not for humans.

Location was excellent. Very spacious and comfortable.

Shower temperature was very tricky to work.

We absolutely loved the location of the apartment! It was so central and perfect for going out! It was also, in fact, very spacious. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped! I would absolutely recommend this!

Unfortunately, some of the windows were malfunctioning (didn't close).
