Quiet area lots of fresh air

HUGE bedroom and bathroom and really, really quiet. Plus Sharon is an excellent host - attentive and leaves you alone in just the right balance.

It's just a personal preference, but I'd love it if there was a bigger area at the sink to lay out my cosmetics bag. There were a couple of shelves by the mirror and a small stand next to the sink, but I couldn't balance my open bag on either. (Maybe I just need too many bits of slap!) 🤣

I booked this hotel for my parents who were visiting the distillery nearby. My parents came back from their mini break, wanting to go back for a longer stay. Never have I heard my parents speak so highly of a hotel. From the moment they arrived to when they left they felt as though they'd stayed at a friend's. The bedroom was relaxing and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious. Sharon was amazing and communicated very efficiently. My mum left her phone charger. Not a problem, it was posted back.

Sharon was an excellent host and gave Us such a warm welcome and tour of the house. The bed was super comforatble and Sharon was always prepared to help with any of our needs.

My Dad and his wife visited from Cheshire and had a wonderful time. They loved the grounds, the place was spotless, and Sharon was a fantastic host. The room was amazing and wow, what a view! They enjoyed listening to the history of the place and would definitely return (for a room with a bath next time)! Thanks Sharon!
