Marehay Hall Farm

The hosts Sharon and Edward at this charming luxurious farmhouse were truly exceptional! From the moment that we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at home. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our stay, from the cleanliness of the accommodation to the delicious breakfast they served each morning. The cleanliness of the accommodation was top-notch. It can be difficult to find a place that is both comfortable and spotless, but this charming luxurious farmhouse nailed it. The hosts clearly takes great pride in maintaining a clean and tidy space for their guests, ensuring that you feel comfortable and at ease throughout your stay.

Sharon was fantastic very welcoming and helpful, the room was very large with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order and delicious with plenty of other options available.

We only booked for one night we would have loved to enjoy a longer stay.

Lovely welcome from Sharon and Edward with offer of tea or coffee and they set up the cushions on the outside sofa in the sun for us to relax over looking the garden and views. The house was in a beautiful location and the views are stunning. Very peaceful. Our room was enormous, so was the bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfiest bed and breakfast was delicious - lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as cooked. Sadly we were only staying for one night but will definitely return if we are in the area and would highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

From the photo's, reviews and ratings, I expected excellence and there was no doubt it was delivered. Large, impeccable room, great furniture, lovely art on walls, bed and bedding were outstanding. All windows opened (which isn't always the case!) and were really clean offering abundant sky and scenery. The bathroom was huge with 3 sets of windows and a statement bath! Breakfast delivered everything you could need in a really lovely room and the cooked items were perfection. Very much looking forward to returning as the Host was so welcoming and friendly - top marks in every category!

Disappointed I could only stay for 1 night, but that can be rectified by a return!

Nice surroundings gardens we didn’t use but if stayed longer would have been lovely to sit outside. Our room was the nicest rooms and was lovely. Comfy bed and a beautiful and clean bathroom

What a fab stay we had. Sharon and Edward are such perfect hosts that we felt like we’d come to visit friends. The room was spotless, comfortable, modern and roomy with a lovely large en-suite bathroom. Shower powerful, use of Prime TV and excellent Wi-Fi too. Lovely view over the fields and loved watching the sheep and lambs running about. Breakfast delicious with a great choice. The full English was to die for. Very handy for visiting our family in Belper. Plenty of parking. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Sharon and Edward.
