Coco Mango Hostel

The feeling of the hostel with kind people and gentle animals is just so lovely. It has all you need; a kitchen, comfortable seating inside and out, warm water if you need.... And it is so well placed for the bus. Obviously, everything in Hiriketiya is walkable but it is also nice that Dikwella is so close too. We couldn't ask for more, especially after I left my ear buds and Venera so kindly contacted me to say so. Very kind.

Ich war mehr als eine Woche in der Unterkunft. Man hat alles was man braucht und knüpft schnell Kontakte, da das Hostel sehr sozial ist. Es gibt ein gemütliches gemeinschaftliches „Wohnzimmer“ und zwei Haustiere. Abends waren wir immer gemeinsam am Strand Volleyball spielen und essen.

I stayed at Coco Mango Hostel for quite a few weeks, first in December, and then I decided to return again in May because of the wonderful generosity and kindness of the owners.❤️ From the very beginning, the place felt welcoming, clean, tidy, and very well taken care of. Everything was functioning perfectly, and it was clear that a lot of love and attention goes into keeping the hostel comfortable for guests! One of the highlights is definitely the amazing kitchen, which makes it easy to feel at home. The whole team was helpful, friendly, and always available when needed. The dorms are comfortable and equipped with fans, which makes them manageable, and there is also air conditioning in the mixed dorms upstairs. I also had the chance to stay in one of the private rooms, and at the end of my stay I booked the deluxe room, which was incredibly comfortable and had everything I needed, and even more. And of course, Coco, Mango and Cashew, the animals of the hostel, are the absolute stars of the place. They truly feel like they are running the hostel and make the atmosphere even more memorable. 🫶 I would definitely recommend Coco Mango Hostel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, friendly, and welcoming place to stay. I would and will happily come back again!

De ligging is goed en de eigenaren zijn heel aardig!

Voor ons viel het tegen omdat het niet was waar naar op zoek waren. Het is een prima plek, maar gewoon niet voor ons. Wat jammer was is dat ze op de laatste avond bedacht hadden om een DJ uit te nodigen om een feestje te geven. Heel gezellig, maar als je daar niet op zit te wachten is het vervelend dat je dan niet kan slapen. Er was geen airco dus het was heel warm in de kamer. Die hitte en slapen naast een DJ booth is niet ideaal. Maar als je als soloreiziger op zoek bent naar gezelligheid, is het een leuk hostel!

All the staff were so lovely and helpful! And their little furry friends 🐰🐶🐈 amazing locations and clean rooms Would highly reccomend!

Lovely cosy hostel. The staff are super lovely and the pets are the cutest. The hostel is well located in a peaceful area while being still close to everything.It has quite a small, intimate and social vibe so I would recommend for solo travellers

Das Hostel an sich war wirklich nice! Auch die Besitzerin war richtig lieb und man fühlte sich direkt wohl dort, da es bereits schon viele Gäste hatte und man direkt liebenswert aufgenommen wurde. Das Zimmer an sich reichte völlig aus und der Standort der Unterkunft war auch super, alles zu fuss erreichbar.

Leider war es für mich in der Nacht dann viel zu heiss, da es keine AC hatte, sondern nur Ventilatoren und somit musste ich meinen Aufenthalt verkürzen da ich nicht schlafen konnte. Wenn es vielleicht kühler ist wie im März/April eine top Wahl, oder wenn dir das schlafen ohne AC nichts ausmacht, ist das ein richtig cooler Ort Leute kennenzulernen ❤️

I loved my whole stay there! I was in the female dorm for a night, the bed is confortable and there is a fan for each bed so I was not hot at all. Then got upgraded to the AC room and stayed there weeks! The staff is so nice and welcoming, we did a lot of social activities and everyone was fun. I also connected with the local family next door and it was so special 🥰 the animals are adding to the warmth of the place!! Very happy to have met Venera and Nikita the owners, they created a wonderful place 🩷 I would come back for sure
