Ritratto Sul Mare

Location was excellent. We needed a place to stay for 1 night before checking into the Grande Albergo next door. We were given coupons for a light breakfast - coffee & bun - at a nearby cafe, which was a nice addition.

There was a small kitchen table with 2 chairs and no place else to sit & relax. There was an “ante-room”, shared by another apartment, with one chair and nothing else. We were 2 women and had no place to put our luggage except to use the kitchen table & the chair in the shared room. Our shower stall did not drain and completely flooded the bathroom - which is a separate room off of the kitchen. We used every towel we had to mop it up so the 2nd person could not shower. The owner was very willing to come and repair this, but as check out was at 10, we were gone before he could see to it. The bedroom was in a loft, accessed by using a tiny circular ladder. Comfy but treacherous - especially if one needed to use the facilities in the middle of the night! The photos showed the layout but I think there should be a very clear explanation of this set up when booking. Also, the kitchen had some supplies but a few tea bags & coffee set up would have been very nice.

There was absolutely nothing appealing about the particular apartment we were given.

First of all no one was at the accommodation to allow us access. We had already sent the advance details of when we were arriving. But still no one there to meet us. A young man staying in the apartment block told us this happens all the time. I had to contact my daughter who was staying in another part of Bari for help as we were extremely distressed. My daughter and granddaughter (who thankfully speaks a little Italian) arrived and it wasn’t until another couple entering accommodation arrived were we given a number to contact the landlord. He said he did not know time of arrival, yet confirmation sent. Eventually he provided my daughter with details to access the property at the rear of the building - probably no more than 3sq metres. Very dark. No window. And a winding staircase that most people would find difficult - especially me at aged 80. This was the only access to the bedroom. My Grandaughter at 18 (who is very athletic) struggled to climb and descend this staircase. We were in Bari for my granddaughters wedding and this spoiled the start of our adventure. We were told there was no other accommodation and there was nothing that could be done. When offered a ground floor apartment the last thing expected is a flight of stairs. My mobility requires walking sticks and therefore navigating this staircase was impossible. My daughter arranged alternative accommodation yet 2 payments of 168 euros still taken and not refunded, despite unsuitable accommodation. Whilst photos are present it should be made clear exactly what accommodation is being provided (as these are all for different apartments) and also highlighting where people with mobility issues may struggle.

Das frühstück war eben klassisch italienisch, kaffee und crossaint war mit drin, meine freundin trinkt keinen kaffee daher mussten wir ohnehin ein anderes getränk bezahlen. Aber trotzdem kein k.o. kriterium. :)

La situació

Que per pujar a la habitació, tens de pujar per unes escales enanes de cargol, fen equilibris. Cosa que en cap moment explique no mostre a les fotografías Tampoc es aconsellable a les persones amb problemes de claustrofòbia.

Super obiekt , rewelacyjna lokalizacja . Wszystko na miejscu co potrzebne do wypoczynku . Obiekt godny polecenia .

Tem escada simples para acessar quarto . Voucher para cafe da manha nao chegou por email. Café da manha é um voucher numa cafeteira a 2 quadras do local , com direito a um cafe e 1 croissant. Proprietária demora para responder. Limpeza e manutenção a desejar. Nao recomendo .
