King room was a little on the small size but adequate. It is a very old building so wonky floors and difficult stairs are to be expected. Room was warm and had usual facilities. Pub was nice, good food (one of the best burgers I've had in a long time) and good beer. Nice to see Pigeon, Pheasant and Venison on the menu for a change. Nice Pub in a nice village.

Bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in (I know mattress's are uniquely personal but my wife also said it was too soft or too old and needed replacing). The shower was so hot it was too hot to use (not something I thought I'd ever say) something we reported to the management to get looked at. The stairs were very steep, very narrow and had a sharp bend and door at the bottom, okay for the reasonably able but not fun with hands full of luggage or if you'd had one too many at the bar.

Breakfast was exceptional location very picturesque.

Opted for buffet but only had cereal so thought it was quite expensive. Second day just had toast which was very nice.

Although we had an upgrade to a lovely room, found it difficult drying my hair. No plug in bathroom and the only plug for hairdryer didn’t quite reach the only mirror on the outside of the wardrobe. Had there been a mirror near the plug, where we made coffee/tea, it would have been perfect. Hope this makes sense!!

Oh dear ..what a pity ..we had a 45 minute wait as staff forgot to bring the breakfast from the kitchen..eggs were hard bacon semi cold ..long wait for toast ..a disaster

There was no management to oversee the staff who were very polite but there was no director ..food very average and expensive for what was a very limited menue ..we have been going there for 10 years and this was unacceptable This visit ..sorry

Location is great, pub is very nice and the food is excellent.

The stairs up to the rooms are a little tricky - only a tiny think though in a generally great place.

Room was really small (room 6). No room for wardrobe. Should've been a single with a wardrobe really.

This pub was a great little gem in Norfolk as I travelled up to my cousins wedding in Godwick Hall. The staff, the room, the facilities, the toilets, shower, food, the everything was just perfect!! I even made temporary friends with some of the regulars as I was waiting on a very delayed taxi and when I left we gave each other a hug goodbye lol. Highley highly recommended. I was a little bit apprehensive about the price when I booked in june for a December stay but trust me its worth every penny!!!!!!! Oh and the duck pizza! Oh My God, do not dare go here and NOT try it! Its amazing!

It was all perfect, I have not faults in this place
