Stable Yard Rooms

Super rooms in quiet, tidy village, perfect for short stays or an overnight visit. Quaint local pub within 400m...the present owners have made a lovely job of renovating this property over the past few years with projects still ongoing. Highly recommend

Plants are overgrown on metal stairs, and got soaked from all the rain water on these. Tap not functioning properly, light out in shower making it dim, couldn't get any TV channels to work on firestick as requested passwords that I did not have with me.

Quiet and cosy in pretty little village location just off A66 😍 host was quick to respond to any queries

Not much to dislike really 😌 be nitpicking to gripe about no food at pub on Mondays and no decaf tea bags ! 😆

Great location for a nearby wedding at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn. Fantastic communication. Clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee provided.

Fridge was noisy (though did say in the instructions!) and there were no facilities for making breakfast. I arrived prepared with milk, bread and butter so toaster would have been useful.

Location was excellent. Off the main road and extremely quiet. Only heard the church bells in the morning. Stable yard rooms was excellent.

We didn't dislike anything apart from couldn't get the tv to work.

Located in a beautiful little village, it was a good stop-over in the dales. We didn't see the hosts but they sent us plenty of information for our stay. It was easy to locate and get in and the parking was great. It was all very new inside.

Although it was new, there were thick layers of dust on and behind the bedside tables, the fans, the fridge and the bookshelf. It was also incredibly cold because it's a converted stable - we went in August and had to put the heating on. The main concern was the level of light in the room while sleeping. There are no curtains on the square (frosted) window on the front door, which is opposite the bed, so it was light from 5am. Additionally, a green light (presumably from a sensor) was extremely bright over the bed all night and the blinds were incredibly difficult to pull down. The walls are also very thin...we heard every word of the couple next door's argument. The quality of the room is disproportionate to the price, considering other places in the area.
