Penthouse Formosa Sunset and Beach

Unser Aufenthalt im Penthouse in Funchal, Madeira, war einfach großartig. Die Unterkunft war nicht nur makellos sauber, sondern auch modern und bestens ausgestattet – es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war perfekt, mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht auf die Stadt und das Meer. Besonders beeindruckend waren die mehreren Balkone, die es ermöglichten, zu jeder Tageszeit die wunderschöne Umgebung zu genießen. Das Penthouse selbst war auf einem sehr guten Stand der Zeit und bot zahlreiche Annehmlichkeiten, darunter mehrere Ventilatoren, eine externe Heizung und verschiedene Schlafmöglichkeiten. Das Internet funktionierte einwandfrei, und als besonderes Extra stand uns ein kostenloser Tiefgaragenstellplatz zur Verfügung – ein großer Vorteil in Funchal. Ein weiteres Highlight war der persönliche Kontakt zum Vermieter. Er war äußerst freundlich, stets erreichbar und hat uns nicht nur mit detaillierten Informationen versorgt, sondern sich auch mehrfach erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder wir etwas benötigen. Insgesamt ein absolut empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt, der unsere Erwartungen übertroffen hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Unser Aufenthalt im Penthouse in Funchal war rundum perfekt – es gab absolut nichts an der Unterkunft auszusetzen. Alles war sauber, modern und bestens ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Das einzige kleine Manko war, dass man bei mittlerem bis starkem Wind den Wind hören konnte. Dies ist jedoch keinesfalls der Unterkunft geschuldet, sondern vielmehr der Höhenlage des Penthouses und den natürlichen Wetterbedingungen auf Madeira. Es hat unseren Aufenthalt in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt. Insgesamt war es eine fantastische Unterkunft, die wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können!

Duży i wygodny apartament. Dwie łazienki. Kuchnia wyposażona ponadstandardowo. Taras do opalania. Uwaga na skosy - dotyczy wysokich osób. Sklepy, restauracje na wyciągnięcie ręki. Bardzo polecam.

Wir haben diese weitläufige Wohnung mit den vielen Terrassen und dem wunderbaren Ausblick sehr genossen. Alles hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen!

The owners made the whole trip very straightforward. Clear instructions were provided to access the property and car park and communication was very easy and prompt. The apartment itself was more spacious I had anticipated and was overall a lovely space to stay. You can sit out on the roof or enjoy the several balconies. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We hired a car and provided you choose a smaller vehicle the underground parking is ideal and convenient. We also watched the stunning fireworks on the roof on New Year's Eve. Temperature was lovely even at this time of year.

It was an excellent facility and location. In addition, the guidance provided by the staff was very clear and appropriate.

Had all amenities in a modern unit with amazing views, clean, comfortable beds , underground parking, great location within a few minutes to the beach, several restaurants, small grocery store with staples, wine, & beer. Host was responsive and had good communication. Beds were large enough for 2 people even though it was not listed as king size beds.

1. No air conditioning and only 3 fans. It got pretty hot at the end of Aug. 2. Slanted low ceilings in bathroom and bedroom. Everyone hit our heads multiple times even though we are not tall (between 5’3 -5-11”). It’s avoidable by being conscientious about how you move but a heads up for taller people. 3. There are mosquitoes which made it uncomfortable to sleep with the doors/windows open, especially since there are no screens. To be fair, it doesn’t seem like screens existed in any of the Airbnbs/rentals we stayed at in Portugal. 4. Not enough couch space for 4 people to sit inside and lounge around.
