Penthouse Formosa Sunset and Beach

The location was very very nice. We used the several different terraces the house has. From most of them you have nice ocean views. We could use the parking garage underneath the building, which was very convenient. From the location you are by foot at the Lido within minutes, or by walking though the spectacular tunnel you are at the beach in minutes. A small supermarket is in the same building and the bigger one is at a 5 minutes walk. This is within a huge shopping center. The appartment was very spacious and well equipped

We are dutch people and a bit taller than average; since the appartment is at the top floor, it has sloping walls all around, so sometimes the space in e.g. the kitchen and the bathrooms was a bit unconvenient, but not a big problem.

Die Ausstattung der Wohnung, die Lage und der unverbaute Ausblick waren perfekt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Autovermietung und Anbieter für Ausflüge befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich 2 Minuten entfernt. Die Betreuung durch die Gastgeberin war super. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The apartment is spacious and has everything we need for a vacation home. The host is very responsive and accomodated to all our requests. The view is absolutely stunning and worth all the money! We will certainly come back if we travel to Madeira again.

Sometimes there is a little noise from the elevator. But not a big problem. The bed (160cm) can be bigger compared to the size of the room. When 3 people were taking (long) shower one after another, the water was not very warm for the last person.

Die Unterkunft bietet spektakuläre Aussichten auf Meer und Berge. Je nach Sonnenstand, kann man eine der 4 Terrassen nutzen, um im Schatten oder der Sonne zu verweilen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, tolle Ausstattung (Küchenutensilien etc.), sehr sauber, viel Platz. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin via WhatsApp war unkompliziert und herzlich. Originellste und plausibelste Check-In-Anleitung, die wir jemals hatten. Wir bevorzugen eigentlich kleine alte Häuschen in schönen idyllischen Orten als Feriendomizil und hatten Zweifel bzgl. der unmittelbaren Umgebung, die von mehrstöckigen Hotels und Wohnhäusern geprägt ist. Die Aussicht der Unterkunft ist jedoch unverbaut, sehr ruhig, Strand und Promenade sind nah und schön. Gute Infrastruktur, um Lebensmittel zu kaufen, perfekte Busanbindung nach Funchal und zum Flughafen. Professionelle Anbieter von Wanderungen fahren die Unterkunft auf Wunsch zwecks Abholung an.

We love mostly everything during our stay in Madeira. The apparent was spacious, stylish and clean. The explanation how to get to the apartment, where to find parking etc. were very clear. Excellent location, we love walks along the ocean. It was very easy to get to Funchal and back by bus. Short walking distance to a shopping center. Just to mention you will need to go up one flight of stairs from the lift.
