I stayed at Meexok guesthouse for two nights. I had a room with a river view and I loved that I had a hammock. I was also helped with transportation back to Luang Prabang. I can highly recommend Meexok.

Le ménage des chambres n est pas fait tous les jours Seules les chambres avec balcon sur le Mékong sont claires et sympathiques Les chambres en bâtiments arrières ont ni vue ni balcon alors que elles sont au même prix

Super tranquille, vue sur la rivière 😍 très confortable, propre, calme. À deux pas d’un restaurant, bonne connexion internet en général (pas du haut débit et instable mais bonne pour le Laos)

Un peu de vis à vis avec les personnes au resto à côté et acoustique moyenne mais j’y retournerai dans tout les cas à cet endroit

"Welcoming, well priced non-luxury accommodation in a beautiful spot"

The riverside location with balcony and hammock. The room was clean but space was limited, with a no-frills bathroom, reflecting the absence of up-market tourist accommodation in Nong Khiaw. But the surroundings were magnificent, the outdoor activities very rewarding. Well priced restaurant next door and elsewhere too.

For the recommended, and good, breakfast you have to allow 5 minutes to walk there and back.
