What a relaxing two days, a charming little cottage with an awesome coal stove, we enjoyed it thoroughly! We loved the animals sounds, chickens early morning and cows roaming around, just like on our farm in Zeerust and Botswana!

We adored the lovely cottage but did miss some kitchen cloths to be able to do the dishes properly.

The friendliness of our host, and the extra little touches, such as a bowl of fruit in the kitchen, a jar of lovely cookies and a packet of rusks.

Cozy fireplace, with a surprise bottle of wine. Gorgeous garden and views.

Lovely house and well equiped.

A microwave might be a good addition

Beautiful, comfortable neat and clean little cottage in the heart of McGregor, Gordon was friendly and attentive, he had a fire going on our arrival so that cottage was warm and inviting. The little bowl with chocolate, fudge and pretzels was a lovely added touch of welcome.

Everything was great , a microwave would be a nice appliance to add but the lack of it did not impact our enjoyment of the lovely cottage.

The cottage has everything you need and is a great location just behind a venue on the main road. You can walk to all the sights in town. The bed is comfortable and we loved having a Braai on the stoep looking over the beautiful garden. Gordon is a perfect host and gave us advise on the sights of the town. We will definitely visit again.
