ZAWhat a lovely cottage, right in the middle of the village with a lovely garden! The facilities were great and vdery well equipped. Gordon welcomed us, even though we arrived a bit early, with some goodies for the fridge and a bag of wood for the braai! He communicated so well with us in advance about the festival happening in the region prior to our arrival so that we can book some of the activities if we needed. Spectacular host. We unfortunately got caught stuck in McGregor due to the flooding. Gordon was so kind during this period and offered us to stay as long as it took for us to find a safe way out of the village. He checked in daily to see if we are still OK and if we have everything we need. He kept us up to date about possible bak road routes out of the village. We finally made it safely back to Cape Town and had a lovely stay, mostly due to his attentive touch. Thanks Gordon.

ZAGordon was super friendly and is an all-around top host! Enjoyed the upfront communications through the booking app and the proactivity Gordon took on himself throughout our stay. 10 Stars for Service Excellence!
Make sure to prepare in advance as there are only restaurants open past 17:00 in McGregor. Paying restaurant rates for basics like soft drinks was a bit of a bummer.
ZAA hidden gem in the middle of McGregor! A great host that made sure we were well looked after! Interesting art around the house and a lovely garden.
ZABeautiful McGregor cottage in a secluded garden off the main road. Very private. Very well furnished with comfortable beds and everything you need.
ZAZAZAThe cottage is creatively decorated which adds to the experience and pulls you into the authentic arty vibe of this village and its friendly people. The old Aga stove and oil heater kept us cosy during the chilly winter evenings and the roosters woke us up in the mornings to beautiful sunny days. The location is so convenient, it's a short walk down the driveway to the main road where you are spoiled for choice with the restaurant options and the quality of food. Loved exploring the village and surrounds, and hope to visit again soon.
ZAThe cottage was awesome a real piece of tranquility and we were made to feel very welcome by Gordon and his knowledge of McGregor and how to get the most out of it. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped and exactly as it was advertised Thankyou so much and we will be back soon
