Sounds in Silence - Misty Forest Garden

Sadly it was just a short overnight stay. But what an unexpected tranquil gem. Such a sense of peace. The only plus about my planned 4:40am departure was I got to see the magnificent stars. My early departure was accommodated by the friendly and engaging host and the communal lounge was the perfect place to pour my travel coffee. I nearly took the gorgeous resident cat home with me. Will definitely be back to soak up the stillness for longer next time.

Far from the maddening crowd but not too far. Warm and friendly reception. CJ a very special person :-)

Maybe just the signage to find the place.

This property is well situated in the midlands. Our hosts were wonderful and inviting upon arrival which made all the difference. For the purpose of our stay it was central to where we wanted to go 10mins from piggly wiggly and 10 from notties. The views from the deck are magnificent, and this quaint and rustic place gives you a full sense of immersion in the midlands.

Host CJ is friendly and gladly shares his vast knowledge of his property's fascinating history. The view of Sounds in Silence is gorgeous and the aura peaceful. The bedroom we stayed in was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The private bathroom is spacious and spotless. My daughter and I loved our short stay, as did our spaniel.

The calm of the surroundings and the excellent service from the owner (and his interesting conversations and delicious whiskey blend)

All is excellent, but the chickens from the property may wake you up very early if you are too sensitive to the noise (not my case, but it was for my partner)

Beautiful View. Great facilities

Enjoyed the scenery. Place was amazing peaceful just as I expected. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He was very informative about the area and sight seeing. It sure was a magical experience will definitely be going back there wen I want to retreat from the hustle and bustle.
