Urban Cliff Hotel

The restaurant at the hotel was very good and served great food.

The room was extremely dirty. It probably wasn't cleaned for months. Bedsheets were stained with god knows what. There were bugs on the floor. The bathroom was too small and disgusting. We did not feel comfortable at the hotel at all. We chose this hotel because of the location and great reviews we saw online but we were extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Save your time and money and book elsewhere. To make it worse, I had requested the staff at the reception to refund me a one night stay because I had to checkout a day earlier due to a family emergency. They took my contact details and did not follow up at all. They lack sympathy and are not proactivel. Worst hotel in Kolkata, and I'll be sure to never stay here again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the food at the restaurant is of high quality. The staff is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. However, cleanliness needs significant improvement. During our 2-night stay, we unfortunately encountered bed bugs on both nights. There was leftover food kept in the lobby area which wasn’t very hygienic.
