Such an amazing place. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the community of Kasenda was one of the highlights of our trip. Silas booked us for a quick tour of the waterfalls and a vanilla farm which are worth seeing. Will definitely come back.

De locatie van de lodge bovenop een heuvel is prachtig. Met prachtig uitzicht kan je genieten van lekker ontbijt en diners. Het team zet zich in om de toeristische inkomsten ook ten goede te laten komen aan de communities van de omliggende dorpen. Ze bieden daarom ook een leuke tour aan bij de verschillende lokale initiatieven. Deze plek is een absolute aanrader!!

The property was in a beautiful setting. Easy to get to and easy to locate. The rooms were spacious and it had the most beautiful eating area. Chris was so helpful and took us on the best well priced experiences, highly recommend the coffee tour! Ben the chef new how to whip up a treat. Would highly recommend everything.

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the kindness and hostility of the stuff. Best view around the crater lake, very nice nature and silent accommodation. The nights are just full of natural voices. Crescent and the Chef were always helpfully and were organising activities for us in the Community. The food was always fresh and delicious.

You need a strong car, because the road is tough.

This beautiful local owned lodge has unique views from its location on the top of a crater late rim. The staff was very kind and made all our dreams come true, arranging nice activities with the communities and sharing useful contacts for day trips around. Don't miss the local food experience!

Hard to get there, but go there and you will not regret

The location and the view from the hotel is breathtaking. Everything is catered for in the room which also provides superb view. The staff are extremely welcoming. The breakfast and dinner was served giving us the best view. Only a word of caution is that in rainy season a proper 4 WD vehicle is required to negotiate and reach hotel.

Located on top of an isolated hill on the crater rim, the lodge offers an exceptional view of the lake and the distant Rwenzori Mountains. A truly serene environment (day and night), with starlit nights. The cottage was large and well constructed, including the bathroom, which had ample warm water for the shower.

Hired transport between the lodge and Fort Portal is rather expensive due to the long distance over mostly unpaved roads. This makes the lodge better suited for guests arriving with their own transport.
