lake mwamba lodge

Very calm and beautiful place. We went for a walk though the villages and even swam in the lake.

The location was wonderful and the view and near by waterfalls amazing. The rooms where simple but nice.

Unfortunately the rooms haven't been cleaned well. I could still see the toothpaste of the previous guest on the mirror. We we're wrongly directed in heavy rains, although asking before for the best way. The staff didn't let us feel welcome, instead we had the feeling to be send away on the last day. Apparently staff haven't heated the warm water boiler, so that we had to shower with cold water the second night and second morning. Food was average, tomato sauce for spaghetti was made with ketchup.

It may be a bjt challenging to get to the lodge in case of heavy rain.

The view is amazing, the staff super friendly and the food so delicious 🤤 The room is very comfortable with a huge balcony !

This was a great choice for a budget weekend away. Crescent went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The meals were simple but tasty, rooms are very clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for some chill days with a book, or to go out and seek adventures. Thanks to the entire team.

The view from the viewing deck on Lake Mwamba is stunning. You can see beautiful sunrise and sunset while you have your breakfast or dinner outdoors. The food is local, simple, but very delicious. Our room was very large, had a balcony and a private big bathroom with shower and bath. Very clean. But the best was the friendly staff, we were very warmly welcomed and cared for. The host was very helpful and answer all our questions.
