HEAVEN HILL LANTA

We booked this place because of the view and the view was amazing, both from room and the restaurant upstairs. The staff is really kind and helpful, they got us a bike for rent, they were always there for everything we needed. We had coffees, shakes and some snacks at the restaurant, all was very fresh and tasty. We knew it is a bit far from everything, so it didn't bother us, on the contrary we loved the location and the fishermen village next by, and we enjoyed exploring the island with the bike.

If I have to find something, cleanliness can get a bit better (like window glass), but it wasnt an issue

A Hotel with an awesome view, great balcony! New, modern rooms, with a great bed. The employees were always kind. Only the distance to the crowded area is quite far, but this you (should) know before booking the hotel. If you just want to relax with sounds of the sea, this is a great place to be

The staff was very nice and supportive. The view is amazing and we enjoyed the calm location of the apartment.

Only the bad room was little smelly but not a big issue as we were happy about the stay at all.

The view is absolutely incredible, the staff is helpful and kind, the room had a good layout and the location was wonderfully peaceful. You do need your own transport, and keep an eye out for the cheeky monkeys.

Kitchenette was in a bit of a rough shape, and the room had some dust and a few broken lights. You have to drive down to old town for dinner but I believe the hotel is working on getting a kitchen up and running. The price and the view more then made up for it!

Heaven Hill Hotel is on a quiet part of Koh Lanta, the beaches are elsewhere so this area has very few tourists. The view from the rooms and the cafe area is outstanding, and the full moon, coinciding with our stay, made it particularly beautiful. The owner is very helpful and can arrange scooter hire, which is a great way to get around. If you are after peace, quiet and beautiful surroundings, you will not be disappointed.

I liked everything

Loved our stay at Heaven Hill, had everything we needed in our apartment. Room was big, with microwave (which was also a grill) and of course a great balcony and view! Close to old town, great restaurants (Bajo taco) and a lovely little beach (bamboo beach), however you will definitely need a bike if you want to explore the rest of the island! The host couldn’t have been more accommodating with everything and even dropped us into town to then get a bike. The sunrise was amazing from the balcony too, would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Nothing, but I understand why people get put off by the location as it is quite far out. However if you plan to get a bike in Lanta (which you should!) there’s no reason not to stay as everything is so easy to get too. We prefer to be secluded and out of the tourist areas so was perfect for us!
