Very handy location, reasonably priced, and clean.

Not an issue as such, but the loo seat was a little loose, which might be worth checking.

The property was clean. The kitchen was modern and well equipped, The lounge was comfortable and the apartment was centrally located. The bed was a double (not a queen). The bathroom was on the small side and the shower was installed over a bath. No coffee, tea, or washing machine powder was provided. The apartment is located on the ground floor.

It is not good enough for the host to advise, a day or two before, that check in details will be provided on the morning of the booking, but then not do so, nor provide any further advice at all, even as check in time approached. Concerned we may have been scammed, or the booking had gone astray, I knocked on the door 10 minutes before check in. The cleaner answered; I told her we hadn't heard anything and I just wanted to make sure our booking was OK. She said she would ring the owner; I then got a message saying details would be provided at 3pm! Indeed they were but included the line that any attempt to get in early would be reported to Booking.Com and could affect our profile for future bookings! We wouldn't have been concerned if we were told check in details would be provided at 3pm, but we were not. We were left in the dark. Clearer and consistent communication is needed from the host. Once we were in we discovered the back of the building was covered in scaffolding. We didn't hear builders though and we were not sure what was going on. We just hoped the building was safe.

A temporary issue but scaffolding was erected which made parking very difficult. We couldn’t use the spaces.

This is the only place I've stayed in with no welcome pack- no tea, coffee or milk etc, which I think was a shame and rather disappointing. (We were on a walking holiday so couldn't carry any extras)

A beautiful apartment close to the bus, ferry and village

I know the apartment doesn’t supply any additional supplies but I would have loved to have at least one coffee pod to know what to purchase. For a big shop I had to go by bus to the nearest village. Not a complaint just would have been nice.
