The Terrace Hotel

++ Lage perfekt ++ Parkplatz hinterm Hotel ++ Bar & Restaurant gut und gemütlich ++ Frühstück frisch zubereitet und lecker; Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt ++ Zimmer gemütlich, aber tw. etwas abgenutzt ++ alles sauber und gut ausgestattet ++ gute Basis für unsere Motorradtouren ++ Personal sehr freundlich.

Die Toiletten in der Bar waren nicht sehr ansprechend....der Geruch :0(

Comfortable bed

Shower was crap. Very hard to control the heat....either very cold or very hot

Checked in and was given a room key / card. Went to the room only to find it had not been serviced since the last guest had left. On return to reception, was initially told they'd have to try and put me in a different hotel due to the maid having gone home (not ideal since I'd booked 2 rooms, one for myself and one for a colleague). They then suggested I wait in the bar and got me a free drink. Later I was told they'd sorted a room for me in the same property, but when I went to it, there was a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke in there. Receptionist pretty much just shrugged when informed. No offer of an air freshener or anything. Had to just put up with it. Poor choice of non-cooked food at breakfast. Some days there's a few more items to choose from, others there's barely anything. Often have to wait ages for someone to attend to the front desk after pressing the doorbell thing on there. This is really poor service, especially since myself and other engineers at my company have stayed there many times previously due to it being located close to our NI office.

Breakfast didnt start till 9pm so didnt get it

Very nice bar area and the staff were really friendly

I was there for two nights, the bed was maid but no additional toilet paper was placed in the room and the glass i used for a whiskey was placed back on the paper towel in the bathroom without being washed. So stuck to it when i tried to use it.!
