Food in bar very good as was breakfast Staff all very friendly Music in bar was a bonus

Roadworks started outside hotel at 5.30 am Not the hotels fault but maybe a room at back would have been better given the circumstances

Staff in the bar-restaurant were really lovely. Food was decent. Best part of the stay. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast on Saturday doesn't start until 9.00am. That's inconvenient for anyone needing an early start. Never experienced that in a hotel before. There are, however, good cafes elsewhere. Noise from the road wasn't conducive to getting to sleep. Decor very tired and dated.
