The music from the bar below was much louder than I expected! I had to wait at the bar to check-in. Getting to the room via a fire door was not ideal. There was no hot water for my shower. Not what you'd expect for £120 a night.

NLThe staff were nice from the little communication we had. The location is great being right in the centre of town.
The room has a serious mould problem, which was covered up by a strong smell of bleach in the room. I used to come to this bar as a student and we were warned about the noise, but the noise levels were insane. I can sleep through a lot and am not usually bothered by noise, but this was over 70 db in the room itself. Who knows if that's even legal? It's as if you're in toilets of the bar, not in accomodation. The earplugs provided do nothing at these levels. DO THE RIGHT THING AND GET SOME SOUND (and damp) INSULATION!
