OcamOcam Azur Inn

We had the most amazing stay, and had the whole place to ourselves. Relaxing by the pool was a highlight! Orange juice on arrival was a lovely touch. Restaurant attached with really good food and reasonable prices (they even made us some boiled eggs and pineapple juice to take to the airport as we were missing breakfast for our early flight). The view from our room was spectacular, perfect position to watch the sunset! The staff were lovely and very helpful in organising a driver for us to get to the airport early. They also offer free transport from the accomodation down to ocam-ocam beach. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, shower pressure was great and bathrooms were clean! Definitely regret not staying an extra day just to unwind and relax!

The road on the way in is steep in parts and unsealed road (not ideal after rain) - something to keep in mind if arriving by scooter.

Environnement très agréable et panorama à couper le souffle, un peu isolé mais calme et reposant. Bungalow typique avec un confort moyen , salle de bain un peu rustique. Personnel adorable et restaurant très correct mais avec un choix limité. Nous retiendrons l'endroit magnifique et l'accès à la plage de Ocam ocam beach avec un tuktuk gratuit proposé par l'établissement..un plus.

Amazing accommodation surrounded by nature. Sea view right from the cottage, you can admire the sunset. Peace and quiet everywhere. Ocam Ocam beach is easily accessible, you can arrange a boat trip to Black Island. The rooms are simple but clean and fully adequate. Nice pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The access road to the accommodation is up a steep hill, people with reduced mobility may have problems. It is not possible to exchange dollars or pay with them in the area. Bring enough cash in local currency with you.

Las vistas.

El acceso es imposible para una persona que no este en forma, una cuesta muy grande de tierra y con muchos boquetes con un % de desnivel muy elevado. Muy poco profesional la mujer de recepción, aparte de ser irresponsable ya que nos dejó colgados con una excursión que habíamos contratado con ella, momentos antes nos la cancela sin margen de poder buscar otra solución, encima borde no queriendo hacerse responsable y diciendo que no es su problema, está claro era el nuestro que nos fastidió el día.

Op de eerste plek hadden we gratis ontbijt met leuk uitzicht. Daar was free shuttle naar strand; fijn, want zo'n 20 minuten lopen en steile klim c.q. afdaling. Wij verhuisden - zonder bijbetalen - naar nieuwe locatie van zelfde eigenaar, pal aan Ocam Ocam beach. Dat was erg aardig en ons verblijf daar was heel relaxed. Werkelijk geweldige plek, superstrand, schaduw, zeer aardige en behulpzame lokale mensen. Op en top gerelaxed daar. Op de oorspronkelijke locatie was wel een zwembad. Dat hebben we in het begin gebruikt, maar later toen we aan het strand zaten niet meer. Eten was prima. En aan het strand waren circa 4 prima eetgelegenheden, met ruime keuze aan lekker eten. Wij hebben op ocam ocam hilot massage gehad, de beste van de 5x dat we dit deden op Busuanga. Gastheer regelde dit en ook de uitstekend verzorgde boottocht naar Black Island voor prima prijs. Is vlakbij en onderweg zagen we een walvis vlakbij!

De eerste plek (mét zwembad, zonder strand) was afgelegen. Airco maakte absurd veel lawaai, hield ons uit de slaap. Er zijn 2 huisjes met mooi uitzicht, die hadden wij niet. Rioollucht in badkamer. Ventilator draaide niet, waardoor we er weinig aan hadden. In tweede huisje draaide hij gelukkig wel. Kamer was niet af te sluiten; overigens waren wij geen moment bang voor diefstal, maar wel beetje vreemd. Op de tweede plek van dezelfde eigenaar (aan het strand) maakte de airco veel minder lawaai.
