Large and comfortable rooms. Excellent location close to the park, shops and cafes/restaurants. Friendly staff and free onsite parking. I travelled from Queenstown to Christchurch with my mum for a music event. We were both really comfortable sharing the Elmwood motel suite as there was a queen bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the lounge and still lots of space and good kitchenette facilities.

I honestly can't think of anything to improve. The room was great value for money and we were more than happy to walk into town. However, if you're not keen on walking, there is a bus stop really close by too.
