Hyatt Place Leeds

Great location, really good value. We were allowed to check in early as the room was ready. The roof top bar was lovely with some delicious cocktails. Gym was well equipped. Rooms big size and the single beds were a lot bigger than usual and very comfortable .

Room was dirty, may be a pet was in the room before as there was dry pee in the bathroom. next to the bin. Crumbs on the sofa. Table was sticky. Phone in the room didn't work.

The room was clean, but very dusty. I really didn’t appreciate the fact that me and my partner were taking a nap when a housekeeper knocked on the door once and then walked straight into the room. She then told us that we were supposed to have a sign on the door if we didn’t want anyone coming in. I thought you had to ask for your room to be cleaned, but maybe I’m wrong. Either way, it didn’t sit right with me, especially considering housekeepers are meant to knock three times before entering, not just once. Then the next morning, the fire alarm went off at around 7 in the morning. I understand it was a fire alarm and these things happen, but it ruined the overall experience nonetheless.

Loved the roof bar

Very nice hotel, the twin room was spacious and had everything we needed. Nice breakfast with lots of choice. The rooftop bar is also a nice option. Very convenient location near station.

We had a couple of issues with the lights not working properly, reception staff were very responsive and gave us a new room immediately. In the new room we had issues with the door locking, again reception staff looked into it. Ideally these should have been picked up before we arrived but staff dealt with it really well.
