The service rendered was exceptional amazing and check-in/check-out was a breeze.

Room service didnt clean properly. There's still sticky stains underneath the waste basket.

Good central location.

When we first arrived, the lady who greeted us didn’t even say hello. She just said you can’t check in yet and waved her hand towards an area around the corner where we could leave our bags. However, this wasn’t clear at all and we had to check again what she meant. Then when we did come back later to check in, it was more difficult than it needed it to be, and we were told multiple times that we did not have breakfast included. It was only when I retrieved the printed booking confirmation that I carried out with me, she finally accepted it. The room then had ants crawling all over the desk. We spoke to housekeeping the first time, and they came to clean, however when we came back later, there were even more ants climbing up over the walls, so after a manager came to check, we were moved rooms, however the room class appeared to be lower than we’d booked as it was much smaller. We also had the high tea while we were there but it was all a very strange affair and the guy serving us didn’t really appear to know what to do with us, and we felt he might’ve benefitted from some training from the hotel. Breakfast was also a bit cold and not much choice. Overall, our stay was not the best and not worth the money we paid.

Hotel location is superb. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. Its close to all the tourist places.

Rooms are too small. Its ok for 1 night stay. But no space to sit except the bed.

This is my second time staying at Baba House Melaka, and the facilities are just as new after a few years. The location is great too, as it is just a hop away from Jonker Street, and near the bus pickup/drop off point. The gym is also well-equipped.

The towels were a bit old.
