Strategic location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Spacious room.

There is a library, but not really upkeep, more of a room where you can read some books and relax. But unable to find it, lack of signage. Should have more parking spaces.

Beauty heritage building - wide common areas. A mature of history and modern comfort.

Love the windows, it blocks out the sound of most vehicles but not revving motorcycles or stereo of trishaws

the location

The blanket is not very clean. It not look white. The blanket look very yellow and dark. Not so comfortable when seeing the blanket is not so clean.

Breakfast was great. Overall, it was a great stay. The location is also perfect as there were plenty of choices for food and bars. There is a heritage museum nearby which was very interesting.

Some guests at breakfast did not behave well as in they were rather intrusive and in one instance, double-dipped at a food station which was disgusting.

We had a wonderful stay at The Baba House Melaka. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, making it easy for us to rest between our meals and shopping trips. Because of the hot weather, we found ourselves returning to the hotel several times a day, and it was always such a pleasant place to come back to. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and hard work. The welcome drinks were a lovely touch. We also enjoyed the daily snacks, soda, bottled water, and especially the evening snacks that were delivered to our room. The lobby was cosy and comfortable and we were very thankful for the early check-in after our long coach ride. The location is fantastic — close to all the main attractions, cafes, and shopping areas, yet quiet enough for a restful stay. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would like to sincerely thank all the staff for their dedication and hospitality.

The only downsides for us were the weak network connection in the hotel and the breakfast food safety concern. Some items, such as the siew mai and congee, were served cold, which was quite disappointing.
