It was nice to have several different places to sit—upstairs couch, kitchen table, courtyard. The main rooms were air-conditioned, so it was very pleasant even when it was 40 degrees Celsius outside.

It’s located in a fairly grimy area, but most of Siracusa outside of Ortigia seemed like that. It felt quite safe.
