Amazing views. Lovely and clean. Perfect for a couple

Absolutely breath taking views! Quite close to everything.

The hosts worked with us to find a solution, but ultimately we lost out despite booking the accommodation months in advance.

It's a beautiful location but when we arrived at 8pm on the 29th of December and a couple was already in the property. It become clear that there was a double-booking. As we arrived second, we lost out, despite the host telling us she was expecting us rather than the other couple. Booking.com has said the hosts accommodation was double-booked; the host says its a technical error on the part of Booking.com. To say we were gutted that this happened over the New Year period is an understatment - and it did ruin part of our time in Queenstown. The host put us up for the first night and gave us tea as she was still engaging with Booking.com by 10pm, for which we are genuinely really grateful, but the following day we had to find alternative accommodation for 800 dollars for the night in a very substandard motel given the time of year it was. The net result was we booked two nights at a lovely Airbnb but, for the same price, got one night in the hosts spare bedroom (free of charge) and a second in the motel.

It is a small but comfortable room and ensuite bathroom. Comfortable bed with nice linen. A spectacular view over the lake and mountains. The outdoor chairs and table are nice when relaxing in the sun. The kitchenette is well stocked with plates and utensils if you like to eat in.

There is not much space for parking, and it is a little awkward to bring the larger cases into the room as the access is quite steep. We left our big cases in the car.

This place hands down has the most AMAZING view! I was completely blown away!

Well it was hard with very heavy suitcases to get down many stairs and back again. But that’s the only thing that we didn’t like.

Fantastic views. Well equipped and comfortable. A quiet location.
