The view is magnificent, lake, mountains, airport. The bathroom was good, shower was good too. Easy check in with lock box.

The description said there was a bedroom and a living room. There is not. It is one small area, the size of a small hotel room with no space at all to put your luggage. It is very cramped. The description read there was private parking. There is not. You have to park in the street above, about 100m from the entrance to 5a. The other option is to mount the curb to park with two wheels on the grass, which wasn't feasible for our small hire car. While we parked on the very narrow street to unload or load the car, the neighbour was not happy. The description does not mention the long row of irregular gravel steps to reach the entrance to 5a. There is no rail and the lighting isn't great. The only place to eat is the tiny lounge, in bed, or on a chair outside. No table (there is no room). There was no human interaction. There is very little information and no instructions. We couldn't get the coffee machine to work, and didn't want to break it, so after one attempt, we abandoned it. The wifi was slow and the tv often froze. The curtains near the tv were dirty with ??? something green??? on the backing. Otherwise the place seemed clean. The bed was OK, a bit saggy. We learned a lesson about residential accommodation being listed on booking.com. we thought this property was over rated and over priced. We felt deceived and disappointed. If the description had been more honest about the limitations of the place we would have booked elsewhere. We travel a fair bit and we have never had to write such a poor review. The rest of our accom in new zealand has been wonderful.

Beautiful view. Lovely shower. Extensive selection of tea & coffee options. Sensor light in the bathroom is helpful. Seats outside.

You had to park on the curb/ roadside. Felt like it was a bit of an unsafe parking space. Expect you to wash the dishes & take out the rubbish. When you use the bathroom light, the fan automatically comes on which is quite loud. Couch is tiny

While it’s 4kms from town, the views make it worth it, It’s a great little house for a single or couple travelling, you have everything you need in there, the kitchens were great, tea and coffee provided and was lovely and warm in winter I would definitely come here again

It is a small room, enough space for a 2 suitcases to lay on the floor but you wouldn’t want to have anymore

This property has amazing view located on the hills, so basically it catches almost all the landscapes. At first, it’s hard to find the property cause the house number is on the ground/grass, couldnt see clearly at night unless you turn on the flash light. Check-in and check-out was smooth. They have heater on the bathroom as well which is very good as Queenstown is very cold. The cabin small but modern-built and i get almost everything (cutleries, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, tv, heaters (on living room & bathroom), humidfier, electric blanket etc. most people complained about no stove/cookingware but hey! Who gonna cook on holiday anyway? And another the best touch is the owner provided plenty kind of teas selection and Lindt chocolates. The property also close to The Boat Shed cafe which have amazing view as well. Only 5-10 mins by Uber to the cbd and/or to airport.

The wifi was up and down, so the best bet is you need to buy your own local simcard/data as a backup. Because the wifi too, i cant watch youtube/netflix cause it always buffering. Another let down is because the property is up on the hill, so you cant save money to get bus. So it’s either you hire a car or get uber everywhere. Lucky the cbd isnt far.

we had no instructions to get in other than “key in lockbox on property” nothing else. when staff were contacted there was no answer. terrible and disappointing. we resorted to the neighbours help in seeking the code which was provided by the cleaner who knew the code and where the lockbox actually was. instructions were unclear and staff were absent and unreliable. absolutely disgraceful and would never return to your property. additionally photos are manipulated to make the space appear larger than it actually is photographing the lounge room and bed separately. only to find out they were 30 centimetres apart from each other with no kitchen or facilities only a bed, lounge, and bathroom. literally. all in reaching distance. extremely disappointing.
