The setting could be lovely with a bit of maintenance

I had booked 3 nights in a dorm but asked on arrival if I could upgrade cos I was still sick. The receptionist was a volunteer and didnt know how to change it on the system and I saw there was a 9 usd room available on booking so I asked if I could just pay for that one directly and then check in for the dorm the next day. So I went to the room and saw there was no fan just an AC unit but no remote so I went back to reception to ask for it. I was lying on the bed and a woman came and aggressively knocked on the door and told me I needed to pay another 6usd for air-conditioning (which I didnt specifically request, a fan would have been fine). I was sick and didn't have the strength to argue, even though I think this is really unethical. The place had a bit of a grubby feeling to me and the breakfast was really bad and not that cheap (I had the omelette). I ended up going in the morning to a much nicer spot in town that was cheaper. I shortened my stay in booking and the property never responded even when I got booking involved, so I dont feel like they are up for feedback.

Estoy muy feliz de haber pasado por este lugar hice mis amigos para seguir viajando en este sitio, ahora somos casi familia, el hostal es barato tiene buena energía y por ese precio no podría quejarme por nada.

Nice and relaxed environment. Good food + the owner is a hero
