The Artist Studio

An absolutely fabulous studio - with all mod cons, we loved the artwork and the overall feel of the spaces. Worked well for 4 of us - the pull down bed works well. The owner, Norman, was a lovely gentleman - he lives next door and was really helpful. It was perfect for a short break, very dog friendly, exactly what was needed - highly recommended!

Absolutely loved the artist studio, we had a lovely 3 night break. Could happily have stayed longer. Couldn't recommend it more! Norman was a lovely host, very helpful. The village is very pretty with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The transport system is good too. We had a pleasant walk to Carnforth along the canal and went to Morcambe and Lancaster too.

The studio was fantastic and beautifully decorated with wonderful artwork dine by the owners son. Nigel was very approachable and friendly. We had a wonderful week and would definitely go back.

Few problems working electric hob as never used one. But nigel soon showed me how and all was fine. Wish we could have stayed longer 😁

The studio is a huge space, well designed with loads of creative features. It feels like the studio of an artist who’s very also practical, so there’s a really usable kitchen space which looks like a cocktail bar and loads of art on the walls.

Unexpected. Very high end. Cool place to hang out in. Rustic but hyper modern conveniences. Walking distance to three great pub/restaurants. Lovely host.
