Victoria House by Switchback Stays

The location was close to drive to attractions we wanted to visit. The size of the property was good. Television was a good size. Bedrooms were reasonably comfortable. The place itself seemed safe. The cost of the place was reasonable.

Entrance to the property every time with a code was a bit fiddly and awkward. There were only 2 chairs at the table even though there were 3 of us. In one of the bedrooms, the light switch was very awkwardly behind the door. Kitchen was short on bowls of the right size for cereal. I ended up washing the 1 bowl for each of us to eat cereal. The place got very warm with the windows shut, as if the air circulation was not that great, even with the provided fan. There was no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Parking was not very close to the property and was just public parking on the street. The street was a bit dirty and filled with takeaway shops. It felt a bit sketchy to walk down after dark.

The stairs were too steep. It was challenging carring my luggages on arrival and check out. The entrance needs to be kept clean There are a few ocassions when the front door is not closing properly

Location, cleanliness

- water didn’t drain well from the washroom basin - there was a wet patch on the carpet in one of the bedrooms (a water leakage some where perhaps) - there was garbage in the outside bins when we arrived and were not emptied during our stay - apartment should be serviced at least every three days. We stayed for 7 nights and it was not serviced even once

Everything is perfect and wonderful.

I liked that it was very clean and comfortable and good location. Easy walk downtown to see Taylor Swift play!

The stairs. I wasn’t aware that the building would have very steep stairs to get to the apartment. I was on my own and had very large suitcase.
