Victoria House by Switchback Stays

The apartment was cozy with everything we needed, down to washing up liquid and shampoo, and everything in between. The decor was lovely and it really was like a home away from home. The flat was very toasty when we arrived, but we easily adjusted the radiator dials to set the temperature to a comfortable level. The apartment is about 30mins walk to Sophia gardens which was ideal as we were attending an event at the sports centre. For the town centre maybe add on 10 mins more but there are buses and driving it would only be a few minutes to Cardiff centre.

The beds were quite hard, which made it difficult to get comfortable to go to sleep. We slept okay once we got comfortable but my spine did protest after the second night. There was some noise from the other flats in the building but it didn’t bother us.

The location was perfect for us easy to get into Cardiff centre and only 5 min walk to our son.

Perhaps more equipment to cook with ( such as a casserole dish and a wooden spoon.) Also maybe a reorganisation of the kitchen space so there was a cupboard to put food in. We used shelves in our bedroom.
