Our bed was a double and was too small. Unusual complaint in the UK but the room was too warm

Sunday lunch was not up to its usual standard, service was very slow, as we were meeting family that we only get chance to see infrequently it really didn't matter to us, As a party of 8 we were seated in a private area separate to the other diners which was superb. The room was in a separate cottage so very quiet, well equipped & furnished. As we used to live in the area 50 years ago its lovely going back when we have the chance. It's like a trip back in time. No traffic noise as it's in a village.
