GBVery friendly staff. Nice cosy room with a large bathroom with bath. Good choice of food and drink in the pub/restaurant. Good location for walks in a very quiet village.

Our room was in Ash Cottage and it was dirty, almost like it hadn't been used/cleaned over the winter. There was green algae in the bath and dead woodlice in the corners of the bedroom. The mattress was also past its best, with springs broken in multiple places. We've always stayed in lovely rooms in the old post office part of the accommodation before, and the Cottage seems to be in need of some TLC compared to those rooms.

The room was spoilt by the armchair cloth being ripped along the bottom . Looked like dog damage. The green light in the ceiling was annoying at night reducing sleep.
