Thai Beach Resort

It was new and spacious

Too many bugs and no hot water

Very close to the temple with ample car parking & sound proof rooms

Approach to the property is very bad. No sign board saying the route to the hotel

I liked the proximity of the resort to both the sea and the thiruchendur kovil. The workers are helpful and nice, beware if you do not understand Tamil though, the speak mostly Tamizh. So do practice your tamil before you go. Great sunrise view from the balcony. The breakfast was amazing, we just loved their breakfast. Note that this resort is most probably for pilgrims going to thirucjendur kovil and as well some relaxation, so remember that in that part of the world the common practice is to eat with your hand. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They are i believe very human and not some cold hotel employee. I will definitely go there if i want to go to thiruchendur again.

The alarm for breakfast, hehe, it is quite annoying, specially if like me after a long flight you want to sleep till a bit late, that door bell ring will just kill your sleep. It is a funny bird sound. Alert, remember the place does not have international Mastercard support, so do remember to bring cash for payment. Luckily while doing payment my taxi was still around and i managed to go back and find an atm to do my payment.

No restaurant

Swimming pool included. Peaceful.

Not close to temple so you have to walk to temple. Not good for old people. But hotel will help you get auto to reach temple. Also no road made to the resort.

Mordern rooms.

No WiFi. No restaurant. Poor unmade road leading from public road.
