Waking up to that view is something else, amazing! Liked the vibe of the area, just be prepared for steps but that’s what you get for beachfront.

Found the air con way too hot even on 16 degrees, also would be great to have a fridge in the room to keep water cool.

As a solo traveller the description was what I was looking for. I met a friend here who had an entirely different experience… To sum up- My accommodation was ok, although had a dirty bathroom. No one attended my room. I had to request for drinking water each day. Her accommodation: After moving due to vibration from an exhaust fan by the room, the 2nd room had no hot water and a broken door lock. Onto room #3 and the air conditioning didn’t work. This is all unacceptable at a cost of $120 AUS per night and no refund. Breakfast was served 3 of the 4 mornings, however on our departure day we were left abandoned. The previous night on my way into my room at 8.30pm I was asked for my breakfast order which I gave and retired to my room. The following morning at 8am I was shocked to find reception empty and the restaurant furniture in disarray and entirely empty of people. There was no explanation of this nor any signage left to inform accommodation guests or patrons arriving for breakfast that they were closed. The owner arrived after 8.30am with staff who were celebrating a traditional custom day. I have no problem with this, however my booking clearly stated bed, inclusive of breakfast and I find the lack of communication and irresponsible actions unacceptable. I have left the premises. The reception area was not manned, so there was no check out. I left my key in the door. Any one is welcome to it… if you are game!

Amazing location and view, friendly staff, comfortable room, really convenient to have restaurant below for drinks & meals. Property could be improved if the room had a mini fridge & a safe.

Clean, on the beach and great breakfast. Staff are lovely.

Steps down to it are a lot but thats what you expect with being on the beach

The view from this place is absolutely amazing!!! You are literally on the beach and bingin beach is just gorgeous. The room decor is also perfect for the vibes. There are lots of steps but that is unavoidable to access a cliff side hotel. It was easy to find with a bit of help from Google maps.

People! I found bad reviews about this awesome place - like ocean too loud, internet not fast enough, etc - Im sad to see this place have a 6.9 rating - REALIZE: you are on the beach down a CLIFF! There is no drinking water, the guys here have to carry everything down! They are super friendly. Its a perfect beginners surf spot, in their room - nicely renovated - you feel like on a boat! I love it! and have great coffee and a smoothie bowl for breakfast.

Recommendation to the owner: place a sign in the rooms regarding cleaning service and water situation - that would help easier meet the expectations of the guests. Good communication with the hosts necessary to get the luggage down the stairs!

The simple but modern and stylish room was situated virtually on the beach with the high tide lapping at the base of the property. An excellent view of the ocean sitting on the balcony. The accompanying warung for breakfast and meals was immediately below on the next level. The internet service was excellent and made up for the lack of a tv screen as we streamed from our devices. We were lucky to have the live music at the property one night we were there.

A kettle for tea making would have been useful and a fridge perhaps.

Right on the beach! The location is everything. The room was nice, there was just a little problem with AC but the staff fixed it quickly. Also there was a trouble with water one night - but apparently the entire Bingin was out of water, the staff did what they could to fix it and they gave us a voucher to the restaurant as a sorry. Which was nice and really appreciated.
