The pool and communal area were great. The staff were helpful and moved us into a different room when we had issues with mould in the twin room. The rooms with a double bed and open bathroom were great, comfortable and spacious .

The twin room we had was mouldy. We both got sick in here. Once we moved rooms, it was much better but we had to share a bed. It was a little bit of a challenge to communicate. The property is quite far out and they do not allow grab/Gojek so it wasnt always easy to get transport

The design of the Villa looks stylish and modern and just like the photos. Villa also looks new and well maintained. Staff are also really friendly and responsive. Villa is located beside a small paddy field and is very peaceful and hidden away.

Be warned that this villa is in a "No Online taxi zone" controlled by the locals so Grab/Gojek driver cannot pick up from the area and can only drop off so you have to book a cab from the "offline drivers" which may cost more. Didn't know about this until many Grab/Gojek drivers didn't come or cancelled on us on the first day and we ended up asking the staff. Location wise is about 15mins drive to the town centre which is not too far but the roads going into the villa is not good & narrow. Due to open design and lack of sound-proofing, can hear other guests when they are talking loudly outside and next door. Some design elements are also inconvenient like having a low lamp right beside the opening of the glass door. The plumbing system also seems to be lacking/really weak which seems like a common issue in bali.

This Villa may be the most pleasant surprise in my 40+ years of international travel. We came across Villa Rekava last minute in Ubud Bali, Indonesia and were so ecstatic when we arrived to see such a clean. quiet, private and beautiful villa. The staff are amazing and I highly recommend this villa as your first choice in Bali. With a wonderful main house, large private rooms, with amazing bathrooms, a beautiful pool, all located in an amazing setting this is the dream villa. We will be back...

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Ravaka! From the beautiful design to the peaceful atmosphere, every detail was thoughtfully curated. I loved that it was slightly tucked away from the busy city center — it created the perfect balance between privacy and convenience. Staying here truly felt like being with family, surrounded by people who genuinely cared about my well-being and safety. I would highly recommend Villa Ravaka to anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming retreat in Ubud!

We had a wonderful stay at this brand-new villa! The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. Everything in the villa is new and very clean, making it a super comfortable place to stay. The location is perfect if you want to explore Ubud by scooter — the villa even offers scooter rentals on-site. The scooters are new, in excellent condition, and come with clean helmets, which was a big plus for us. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property with amazing staff who couldn’t help you enough. We loved the views of the paddy fields, the beautiful decor of the villa and bedrooms and the pool. If you are looking for a modern, quiet place to stay, that is reasonably priced just outside the chaos of Ubud, then this is the place for you. There is a small cafe and shop near by and a Gojek taxi is 10-15 mins into Ubud centre. A scooted is quicker. They have a driver that can take you anywhere you want to go. The breakfasts were cooked on site, they were delicious and plentiful. It’s a small complex, with luxury individual rooms and a shared living/kitchen area. It holds a maximum of 8 people so is perfect for friends and family to book together. It was definitely a good price for the stay and we would highly recommend it. We loved it here

There were no deal breakers Things to consider are It’s 10-15 mins outside of town The only coffee that they have is Nescafé , for coffee lovers like us this wasn’t great (please invest in some real coffee). Everything else was perfect.
