GOCCE VILLAS - Agave Apartments Sorrento

The host was very welcoming and gave us lots of valuable information and even dropped off some walking sticks for my parents! The apartment is just how I remember it and it was a great stay!

It is a little bit run down (there was a weird smell coming from the pipes) but still a lovely place to stay and I would stay there again!

The apartment is a perfect base for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. It has everything you need to be comfortable. The shower is excellent and the beds are comfy. It is close to the train station and a short walk to the old town and town centre. There is a few wonderful restaurants and bakeries nearby Grazia was fabulous and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, she was also able to give advice and reccomendations for what was in the area to do. A few things to note, the building can be quite noisy with people moving around and you can hear a lot in the hall (I think this is the same across the city due to the style of the buildings), we took earplugs and slept soundly. There is also only a thin curtain and external shutters so I would also advise an eye mask to avoid getting woken up too early. We love our stay and would reccomend this apartment to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Sorrento!

Grazia best host ever!

Room quite noisy, you can hear guests from other rooms moving forniture or their heavy footsteps

We had a lovely welcome from Grazia. She gave us lots of information about the area.

The apartment wasn't clean (the bathroom had hair all over the floor and the toilet wasnt clean), it lacked some basic equipment for a holiday let especially in the kitchen.We reported a faulty door handle and no attempt to fix it was offered. It is over priced for the facilities it offers.

It was very spacious and clean.

Lovely apartment not too far from the centre. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We had a great stay.

Everything was great.

The location was good allowing us to access tours , main transport links. , restaurants and bars , the main shopping street and the old town . Jasvir was a welcoming host and the early check in was much appreciated as were local recommendations . Plenty kitchenware . Excellent security system into complex , 4 different keys needed between gated complex and apartment doors . 2 x Small supermarkets around 5 mins away by foot 👍

A few things we’d recommend considering although we didn’t let it destroy our stay . Be aware that if any light sleepers the main bedroom people have to go past sofa bed to reach toilet during the night . Bathroom could do with some shelving for toiletries and shower base damaged . Also although described as soundproofed we heard a lot of outside noise and terrace doors rattled every time inner doors opened . Terrace was overlooked by many other apartments so don’t expect privacy . Plus as other guests have mentioned a full length mirror would be good 👍
