GOCCE VILLAS - Agave Apartments Sorrento

Amazing host and a short waking distance into Sorrento town, train station and ferry port.

It was a good location and a comfortable bed.

The property had not been properly cleaned when we arrived, but our host was helpful in getting a cleaners to return the next morning. The balcony was big but quite overgrown, that could do with some work and there was black mould on the bathroom ceiling.

Short walk to city center, close to Sorrento’s port for ferry access as well as the bus station, fit our large family of seven perfectly, elevator for special needs, spacious private outdoor space, comfortable and clean throughout!

Metal shutters were noisy at night due to the wind and no parking on site; however our host made us a reservation to park in a gated lot nearby for a fee

We loved our stay! It was about a 10 minute walk from downtown Sorrento & about 10 minute walk from train station as well. Our host was extremely helpful during check in, giving recommendations, & answered any questions we needed immediately. We loved the hot tub in the bedroom & having a full kitchen was nice. The AC worked very well! Overall we would stay here again. Thanks so much!

Apartment with full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with a long size bed, living room with a sofa bed (king size too) and terrace with table and chairs. Everything was clean and comfortable. The apartment is a 10 minutes walk to the first downtown Sorrento’s restaurant/coffee shop. To reach more restaurants or the Marina it’s more of a 20 minutes walk. Also, the road to go back goes uphill a little. The location is quiet.

Just a heads up that the property is managed by an agency and for this reason it is treated more like a hotel than an apartment owned by a local. For example, when we asked for more towels we were told the policy is that towels are changed every 4 days, when the cleaners come, and if we wanted more we had to pay $5 per towel. Also, even if I booked this property with the option to pay in person, I was charged in advance on the card I had on file with booking.com. It was a little bit of a nuisance because we were traveling in group and we planned to pay each our portion separately. I would definitely send a message in advance to discuss payment if you are in a group and have similar needs.
