We were so excited to realize that we had an apartment in a great section of 7 mile beach. The building is relatively new and very, very nice and steps from the beach and the pool. The check in system is simple and we were relaxing almost immediately. So many weel thought out features!

Excellent location, very easy to park, close to beach, apartments are spotless, pool is beautiful and quiet, gym is well equipped, cafe is great. All in all we could not fault governors village. An excellent place to stay!

Governors Village is a newly built (2024) apartment-hotel within walking distance of the public Governors Beach, which is in the middle of the Seven Mile Beach. It's very clean, quiet and well-managed. The apartments are great: each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. Self-check-in and check-out are very convenient; we got the access code before we arrived and never had to see anyone. If you need anything, you can call, text or email them anytime. The apartments do not have laundry appliances, but this was not an issue for us. They offer beach chairs and umbrellas for rent, but we didn't need them. If the beach amenities are important to you, a beachfront hotel or condo might be a better choice. We would definitely stay here again.
I overall liked it with the exception of towels and bed too soft.
