Pet Friendly Cottage Ashbourne with Parking

Fantastic location for exploring the Peak District and also a trip to Alton Towers. House was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to shops and restaurants. Great communication from hosts.

The location, close to supermarket, restaurants, bus station, and the fact that almost everything was at the cottage, like dishwasher, washing machine, microwave.

It was less clean then we had expected based on previous reviews. The beds were not so comfortable. The wall behind the table must have been treated (recently) because the persons sitting against it ended up with white backs. Luckily just their pajama's.

Needed more eggcups and wine glasses. Proximity to road made the front bedroom quite noisy

The house was surprisingly spacious for the four of us, very clean and well equipped.

As it's on the corner of a busy junction, the front single bedroom can get very noisy, so it's not too great for light sleepers.

Felt really homely and everything you needed was there.

Mattresses could have been comfier and needed a black out blind in the top room. Oven was also tricky to use.
