Truly terrific. Hotel staff were happy to offer alternatives if you asked.

Absolutely nothing

Fabulous boutique hotel located in Halepa on the outskirts of Chania . Recently completely refurbished with stunning interior and exterior .

Choice of food especially for one with allergies was limited . Although the staff were very helpful and tried their best to accommodate . The dinner menu was also disappointing .

דומוס בלאנק חאניה הוא מלון שחידש מבנה היסטורי בשכונה יוקרתית של חאניה. משהוא כמו בית הקונסול הבלגי המדהים בטלביה ירושלים. זה אכן היה בית הקונסול הצרפתי שקראו לו בלאנק. מי שעשה את חידוש המבנה ההיסטורי הזה שפך שם מיליונים של יורו. המלון מדהים ביופיו. השילוב בין המודרני להיסטורי הוא ברמה של מלון ממילא בירושלים. פשוט עבודת אמנות אדריכלית. הבריכה נסתרת לה בגב המלון היא לא גדולה אבל מוקפת צמחיה יפיפיה . זה מלון יוקרה והצוות כולו מתנהג לאורחים כאילו כל אחד הוא הקונסול ממדינתו. אני מורה דרך מוביל קבוצות שנים רבות ולא ראיתי מלון שנותן כזו תמורה לכסף . ארוחת הבוקר..מצויינת. אכלנו גם במלון ארוחת ערב כי ראיתי את התפריט ואוכלים בחצר יפה. אז אחרי הפלגת שקיעה מנמל חאניה חזרנו למלון לארוחת ערב מעולה. הכל היה ברמה הגבוהה ביותר. מהקוקטיילים הייחודיים עד למוס אבוקדו בסיום. אוכל מעולה במחירים שכל ישראלי יכול לעמוד בהם. יש גם בונוס ...המלון צמוד לבית וניזלוס- מוזיאון בביתו ההסטוריה של אבי ההלניזם המודרני. אם הייתם בבית בן גוריון אז וניזלוס- היה בן גוריון של היוונים. לא בכדי אנחנו קוראים לנתבג על שם בן גוריון. באתונה נקרא שדה התעופה וניזלוס-. אבל הוא היה יליד כרתים. הבית שלו צמוד למלון. וזו פינת חמד.

העיר נמצאת מרחק 7 דקות במונית שעולה 9 עד 11 אירו. יש אין ספור מלונות בעיר העתיקה של חאניה. אבל אין מלון ברמה הזו בעיר בכלל. אנחנו בילינו לילה בעיר העתיקה ולילה בדומוס בלאנק. אין מה להשוות. החדר שלנו שהיה סויטה בעליית הגג שבה הכל מופעל אלקטרונית היה אחת הסוויטות היפות שראיתי בחיי.

Everything. This might be the best stay at a hotel I’ve ever had. The property itself is beautiful - with a Wes Anderson style pool. Our room was incredibly comfortable and the staff were the best - so attentive. We had a flight late the next day and the staff were so accommodating - we had the best day by the pool. If I could give them more stars I would.

Staff were exceptionally helpful

La localisation est parfaite : on est près du centre (20mn à pied le long de la mer) et le quartier est très calme et sûr. Il est facile de stationner pour la nuit. Le site est très beau. Bâtiment magnifique et personnel très agréable. L'accueil est chaleureux et les conseils donnés sur les centres d'intérêt touristiques sont utiles.

Même si le personnel est attentif et courtois, la partie "restauration" ne donne que partiellement satisfaction: => Au petit déjeuner, il faut commander des plats (assez élaborés et plutôt caloriques) puis attendre d'être servi : une formule "buffet", même assez simple, serait plus adaptée et informelle. => Au dîner, le rapport qualité / prix n'est pas optimal : il est supérieur en ville, dans les restaurants entourant le port.

This hotel deserves all the stars. The staff are fantastic and make everything so easy-booking dinners, cars, excursions, finding what you need. You will not want for anything.
