Dutch Manor Boutique Hotel

I absolutely enjoyed the hospitality of the staff at the Dutch Manor. The food was delicious and they provided me with help with all the queries I had. They made me feel comfortable during my stay with everything I needed. The property is in an excellent quiet location, walking distance from the Jew town and a short ride away from Fort Kochi. In fact I spent a day walking from the property to Fort Kochi. I would highly recommend this lovely place!

Excellent hotel! We were a group of 8 and stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms and the entire property are very clean. The staff goes out of their way to make sure we are comfortable. It is worth staying here just for how well the staff take care of you. Mr. Praveen in particular was very helpful with all information - local tips, organizing cabs, meals etc. Special thanks to him! The rooms are very comfortable. There is sitting space, the beds are quite big enough for two, and bathrooms are modernized, but still have buckets for Indian style bathing. The windows have very good mosquito netting, so there were no mosquitoes in the rooms. The wifi was strong. The breakfast was wonderful - with different variety of dishes everyday! The location in Mattancherry is quite good too. It is very close to the palace, the Synagogue and the Jew town. There are a some good restaurants nearby, and plenty of fruit vendors. For Fort Kochi, it's either a long walk of about 3 km or a short ride in an Auto (very easy to get).

The only thing our group felt could be improved was the coffee - the hotel should invest in a coffee machine. For such a nice hotel, offering instant coffee is a bit of a disappointment.

Really cosy room and really good service. Kind people, calm place, super sleep and clean room. Really nice breakfasts Really helpful for any request. All step easy. Really nice stay in this all brand new hotel. Gave us some tips for have lunch and drinks too. Really helpful.

Wonderful stay: - the whole hotel was squeaky clean to western standards (which is rare!) - beautiful design with high quality furnishing - comfortable mattress - very good breakfast (and they are flexible with it too, according to your breakfast) - great service (help in booking tickets, transfer to my next travel location etc)

If you haven’t read it elsewhere already - I wouldn’t recommend traveling to Kochi around the time I did (end of July) as everything was completely empty
