Such a lovely place to stay and many thoughtful little touches. Will definitely return for a longer stay :)

The cabin was very tidy and spacious. There was an induction stove, plates and cutlery, running water (hot and cold), a clean shower and a funny picture of a Yak above the bed. There was a chicken coop right next door and a nice view from the terrace. Sofa, chairs and bed were all comfy.

We couldn't figure out the sofa bed, so we just left it before we broke it. We did not meet the host(s?) at all. Which is, of course, not a given or a necessity and we did arrive very late in the evening, but it felt weird with how cute and personal the cabin was. Also, there was no wifi. Which is totally okay and not a requirement either, I just thought I'd point it out, as it's usually a given these days.

Cozy stay in the middle of the nature, with lovely views. Cottage had everything we needed.

Lovely cottage and great there was no Wi-Fi nor TV. We had some concerns with some loud music coming through the walls from the back, but this didnt last long and was fine from that point. Very private driveway and entrance. safe place to leave our MTBs as nice and remote. Perfect spot for riding as it's on the doorsteps for many rides and some of the NZ great rides. We rode to Thames and back and the second day to Waihi. Good pricing and we will be back.

Secluded ans very peaceful, such a lovely old miners cottage that has been modernised very tastefully.

It was a little musty but we opened the doors and windows upon arrival and a room spray (provided) and all good.

We loved the privacy, peacefulness & location of the cottage. Loved the view out onto the chickens, trees and hills. A very comfortable bed.
