La Plaine Verte Guesthouse

Great location and very friendly owner who allowed my sons to play his PS.

The place is filthy and it is too bad because otherwise it would be a nice and friendly hostel. The cleaning lady should go to see other places to get an idea about how a clean place looks like. I did not care that the equipment is old but the dirt is way too bad. The toilet seat was stained as well as our bed sheets, I am not mentioning the dirt under the bed, dirty sink, etc. We were away most of the day and used the place for sleeping only. I was disgusted of the kitchen the most and could not even make tea in the morning.

Great staff, provided some great insights & recommendations. Excellent value.

Everything about the place.

The staff were exceptional, very helpful, friendly and professional. Room was very comfortable and spacious, air conditioning worked well. kitchen cramped but stove, microwave, pots and pans and all necessary items. Close to small supermarket, and grocery stores. Very close to restaurants, easy walking distance to china town, and port area, museums

TV did not work, internet intermittent. Stairs narrow and steep with luggage

Location right in town with amazing food options open late within walking distance. Vibrant community. Bus stop Bank and taxi stand within 50metres. Helpful friendly staff. A friendly Guesthouse not a hotel. Room was clean.

Some problem with television but not important to me.

You can have your breakfast anytime, and there's a kitchen if you want to do your own stuff. with a good location and easy access to taxis, city centers, businesses, restaurants, and more interesting places just by walking

Very relaxed atmosphere. Dont expect a formal reception. With a shared kitchen and dining area you become a part of a little community during your stay. Meeting and greeting different cultures and nations. Nice little fridge in room for keeping snacks, fruit and yoghurt.
