Town Centre Luxury Retreat

i made breakfast for the family, bought food in the main street, emmet left milk so my girls were happy for their tea, a little noisy in the am but the road traffic was diverted for road repairs so all good.

AC but it was a hot day and Ireland does not have AC in older [properties.

Very central clean and cosy

Stairs a little bit steep but manageable

Very clean space. It had a fully equipped kitchen and living room area with one bedroom upstairs. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable stay, Thank you

The location in the town is excellent, check in (via lock box) was simple and the property was spotlessly clean. Cooking utensils are provided, the oven and hob are straightforward to use and the bed was comfortable, meaning we had a good night's sleep each of the four nights of our stay. There is some traffic noise (which you might expect in such a central location) but it wasn't something that bothered us. Emmet and Yvonne were away for part of our time there yet when we needed anything, they still found time to respond and sorted out a couple of issues. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

We were surpirised that in a self catering accommodation there was no iron and ironing board provided, however this was one of the issues Emmet and Yvonne fixed immediately and they did mention it's something they intend providing in the future. We tried the TV but there didn't appear to be any channels available, we weren't bothered by this so didn't mention it to Emmet and Yvonne so it's possible they may have had a solution for that had we contacted them, maybe some instructions for it might be useful going forward. Finally, only one hand and one large towel each was provided, so we had to ask for more, given it was a four night stay, however Yvonne delivered another set of the same so even that niggle was fixed as soon as they could.

Great apartment with all the amenities needed for our stay, apartment was spotless and very comfortable. And a great location.!!

Although I did read the comments about the proximity to the road and potential noise, it was noisier than expected, not ideal for light sleepers. The shower water temperature also a bit tricky to get right and not great pressure. Minor inconveniences!!
