Town Centre Luxury Retreat

Code for key box sent well in advance , Emmet keeps you well informed the apartment was very clean, tidy and modern, the bed really comfy and the shower/wc spotless . Good location for the local pub ( Druid Inn ) which I’d recommend to watch football the landlord is very friendly and helpful , the Chinese take away next door to the pub is good too.

No tv channels listed and trying to scan them didn’t help , you have to enter own Netflix login to watch tv , sink hot water took an age to get hot and the shower was hot and cold during use ( none of this is a big deal but worth mentioning ) On a busy noisy road with limited parking .

The place was spotless clean. The couch was very comfortable. The mattress was nice. Fresh towels. Nice decor and smelled nice.

There were a few issues unfortunately, it took me 40 mins to wash my hair because it kept going roasting hot (burning hot, so dangerous) or freezing cold the temperature would not regulate. I was sorry I attempted to wash my hair but once I started I had to finish. There was no coffee or cooking oil, , I know it's self catering but they are basic things that you would expect to be provided especially for a short trip. The bed covers were really hard and rough which is a pitty because the mattress/bed was nice and comfortable. The noise was terrible, the neighbors next door had a child that cried a lot, you could hear them clearly when they talked. The noise of the traffic was very loud (I know this can't be helped) lucky I brought earplugs or I wouldn't have slept all night. It was hard to hear the TV I had to turn it up really loud to hear it. I'm sure the neighbors didn't appreciate that 😞 (sorry) It's a perfect location if you want to hit the town for the night because it's close to bars etc and it will help you to sleep if you had a few drinks. It's not ideal for someone passing through for a work trip unfortunately.

Excellent location,apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped.Bed was super comfortable with good quality bed linen.Towels were also good quality

Decent sized room with a comfortable bed.

The parking isn't ideal and we struggled on one or two nights to park close.
