Baan Chanoknunt Resort Pai

We could not stay at the place, as it was not an operational “resort”, I had already paid in advance, and they wouldn’t waive the fee (cost of three nights). The business is also run under two different names, and the address on Bookings.com doesn’t correspond with the actual location, which is on the other side of Pai. When I complained and asked for a refund the owners were rude and accused me of bad behaviour! Anyway, we ended up paying but not staying, and found alternative accommodation in Pai.

The “resort” was staffed only with a cleaner who didn’t speak English. The place was partly a construction site, overgrown and a hazard for little children. Don’t trust these places that demand upfront payments, no cancellation, and then have a fraudulent address for their “resort”! Makes me regret booking in advance.

The place is nice, room is clean and stuff are helpful. Internet connection in the complex is also very reliable.

Hot shower water was on and off. Location is off, unless using scooter/bicycle. 20 mins walk from nearby facilities, but the walk is in a rural area with no person around most times.
