The location was great, walkable to all the spots in the city.

Rooms need ceilings. Also, a bathroom in a hotel room. Why have a door when there is no ceiling? Pointless. There was absolutely no noise barrier and thus no privacy! The room was dark; yes, there was a window, but the blinds needed to be closed at all times, otherwise, the pedestrian on the sidewalk could see right onto the bed. At the same time, the room was next to the entrance and the reception; thus, the room with its gaps in the door was rather noisy. I think it’s not an option to listen to the receptionist watching movies while lying in bed.

Great variety of travelers, good options for group activities if interested. Dorms were clean, hot shower with great water pressure! Nice pool. Bar on premise if interested.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent near many restaurants, the boardwalk and museums. I would recommend to others. It was also a good value.

Gorgeous room, great location, near to everything but relatively quiet. Staff was amazing. In room coffee was great, plus 24 h free coffee and water in lobby. Common areas are stunning- this property is a gem.

No hot water! Ack! I was unable to shower because the water was cold— not good after a long trip.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and located in a historic building, perfectly situated in the city center and within convenient walking distance of all major sights. The staff is very kind and helpful, and they shared many useful tips for sightseeing and places to eat.

The only negative point is the extremely poor soundproofing. We could hear almost everything happening in the corridors and in nearby rooms. The wooden room doors are particularly noisy when opened or closed, and there is virtually no sound insulation.

Convenient location

No hot water. Lousy internet. No window in room for natural light. Upon checking out in the morning, they insisted on “checking the room” before we left. They stated that it was to make sure we didn’t leave any of our belongings behind, but as the staff was leaving the room they were talking about number of towels 🤷🏼‍♀️
